To publish an International Journal (quarterly) which shall be called Journal of Horticultural Science and Technology (SoPHoST) with focus to publish peer-reiewed research articles and review papers related to science and technology of horticlture
To encourage interaction among the Scientists specialized in horticultural crops and related subject fields of different organizations in India
To irganize symposia, conference, workshops, shows, exhibitions and related functions on Horticultural crops and horticulture industry
To act as an effetive catalytic link between the research and developmental workers, farmers, industrialists, traders and the consumers of Hrticultural crops and products
To arrange for lectures and disclosures on subjects of general and advance aspects related to horticultural science and technology
To bring out seminar proceedings, smposium proceedings and books related to the field of horticulture and allied disciplines
